We are looking for someone to handle and maintain key clients' accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that clients are aware of the full range and capacity of products and services of Specialised Hardwares Limited.
  • Effectively maintain the chain of quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, payments and repeat orders.
  • Develop and execute a sales plans for each client to attain annual and long-range sales goals.
  • Evaluate and assist in the development of each account by establishing a positive long-term partnership.
  • Actively seek and establish new large consumer clients.
  • Maintain effective communication with all customer key personnel regarding products, and solutions.
  • Provide a win-win situation for both the client organisation and Specialised Hardwares Limited by cultivating and maintaining a trusted and growing business partnership.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to analyze total key client needs and submit proposals for optimal stocks for relevant products.
  • Provide the highest quality service.
  • Act as an ambassador to project an innovative and positive image for Specialised Hardwares Limited.

Requirements: Education, Experience and Required Competencies

  • Ability to easily interact with, and make positive impact on senior management and decision makers of the key client establishments.
  • Demonstrated experience of past sales and networking.
  • Competence in tendering processes required by the Public Procurement Act.
  • Results oriented, performance driven to achieve individual goals.
  • Proven skills prospecting, developing opportunities, closing new business, and growing existing accounts in a premium product sector.
  • Customer-focused
  • Relationship management including the ability to effectively work with and communicate with multi-functional groups both within and outside the company.
  • Effective communications including presentation, written, and verbal, ability to effectively interact with a wide range of audiences
  • Problem solving
  • Excellent computer skills.

Physical Demands

  • Travel in the field within the whole country, making scheduled face-to-face calls.

Work Environment:

  • Will be located at Nairobi Head Office
